A severe weather outbreak brought dangerous weather to the Midwest and South Thursday and Friday night, spawning tornadoes in at least six states. At least 13 tornadoes were confirmed by the National Weather Service by early Friday evening, according to severe weather expert, Dr. Greg Forbes, including eight tornadoes in Illinois, two in southern Mississippi, and one each in Ohio, Maryland and Louisiana.
